What's up. Building a new computer and was wondering if I could make any needed revisions, but still keep the power of the build. I built this computer with games like Total War and Space Engineer in mind so I wanted this build to be somewhat beefy because I know Total War is pain to get looking good. Appreciate anyone who responds and makes changes, they all help!

Solid parts but kind of a motherboard overspend for the processor, you could go a B450 / R7 3700x as an alternative, and get an NVME drive for the price of the Samsung 860.

Also don't buy a windows license for $110, you can get them cheap and just create your own USB Windows 10 media. I stuck with a Wi-Fi motherboard, do you need that?

You can install windows 10 for free without a key, or just get $5 keys on ebay that work fine

Maybe get an NR400 for airflow

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/D2HRsY/cooler-master-masterbox-nr400-wodd-microatx-mid-tower-case-mcb-nr400-kg5n-s00

The 3600 has the same performance as the X, and you can just buy an $80-90 B450 MSI MAX or Gaming Pro motherboard instead for only the 6 core.

PSU is overkill a TXM or...TMX unit would be fine

I'd get an M.2 SSD just for ease of installation and being able to use it as a flash drive in the future.

and the MSI Evoke 5700 is really cheap right now and should be fixed, or be able to get fixed with new thermal pads, it's not too far behind the XT.

Do you only have a 1080p 60hz monitor?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I would reccomend NOT buying a windows license, and you should also get an m.2 nvme ssd, they are a lot faster.

Laptop: HP Spectre x360 13t, i7 8565u with 16 gigs, 512 gig  nvme ssd, UHD 620 4k

Other laptop: Acer Chromebook cb3 431 with 4 gigs, celeron n3060 with hd 400 and 16 gigs eMMC soon to be a minecraft server?

Remeber to tag people or else they wont see your post.

first of all, can you provide all the basic (standard info) like location, budget, preference of manufacture, uses for the computer, do you need monitor, keyboard, mouse etc?

form factor size, all the basic stuff we need to evaluate this, i can see you can make some changes yes.  M.2 nvme drive for sure for windows / C drive, and if you want a 2TB Seagate 3.5" drive go for the hybrid version (slightly faster) SSHD

for windows, yes i can see your point, i also like to have a proper hard disc copy, but do you have a CD / DVD reader / player?  you might be better with a version on USB stick. or download a legal copy.

last of all, Noctua coolers, very good used them for years and never a problem.

It is better that you download a new and fresh copy of Windows 10 directly from your site and do not activate it. Then use it like that for a while and you will notice that there really are no differences or limitations in its functionality like in previous versions, apart from removing the watermark there really isn't much between an activated copy and one that doesn't: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/

I also think you are spending a little more money on the motherboard and CPUX, the above recommendations are pretty good.
