Thunderbolt - z390-f

ASUS ROG Strix Z390-F GAMING, S-1151

I cant find if this motherboard has tb3(thunderbolt) ? Or does one have to buy the extentioncard?

99% of consumer motherboards do not come with Thunderbolt, as the demand isn't big enough and it will add alot of cost to the product. you will need to buy a separate pcie thunderbolt expansion card.

Nope, has USB-C 3.1 Gen2 but without thunderbolt.

 

I know of only 2 Z390 boards with TB3...

Well yeah, TB3 seems to be about the last feature to add, so every board that has it is basically top of the line with all other possible bells and whistles...
