Audio too loud above "level 4"

So title basically, if I go any higher than 2 and 4 it's too loud. I even have to lower the audio inside games and youtube.

I've had this problem since I built my pc (more than a year ago), any idea why?

A man walks into a doctor's office and says "My arm hurts when I do this"

the doctor replies, "Then don't do that!"

You likely have a powerful sound card and an easy-to-drive speaker. Check if volume on the speaker itself is cranked up high, sometimes pc speakers have their own volume adjustment.

Not sure what kind of analogy/metaphor is that but sure

Volume mixer and speaker properties are the same levels. I don't have a dedicated sound card, just the one that's integrated into the motherboard.

Bump

I've tried reinstalling audio drives from Gigabyte's website and nothing has change. I have gone through audio settings enabling and disabling a bunch of stuff.

I need this fixed so I can play games properly. Especially when there's walking sounds but since I have the volume pretty low I cant hear them.
