Which one would perform better out of the 2?

i9-9900KF - 16GB Kingston Hyper x Ram - 8gb RTX 2070 super - 2TB HDD - 500GB SSD  -  750W supply

OR
i7-9700K - 16GB Corsiar Ram (Unsure of exact model)  - 8GB RTX 2080 -  2TB HDD  -  256GB SSD  -  unsure of power supply

For 1080p?  1440p?  What uses... games, editing, rendering, etc?

 

Which would perform better... Corvette or F150?

9700K + 2080.

If we're talking about games.

i thought the 2070 super and 2080 are very similar

9900K with 2070 Super is with 750W PSU and 500GB SSD is a better "all-arounder".

 

If you are purely doing a 4K gaming then 2080 build is probably better.

However, 2070 Super and 2080 is not too far apart in performance.

9900K and 9700K are also similar in many tasks, but for a true multi threaded workload, 9900K is noticeably better.

 

Real difference is that 500GB SSD is definitely more spacious than 250GB and it's faster. (Assuming that it uses same generation of cells and same layers of cells)

Also, the unknown PSU is kinda sketchy.

So, overall I vote for 9900K with 2070 Super build.

It'll be primarily used for gaming. Occasional use as media player like movies and music. Occasional use for media editing too (go pro footage mainly)

I've not used either before, i'm upgrading from current model mac pro so anything would be better (gaming wise)

Basically, I'm looking at spending around £1700 on a tower PC that'll be used 75% for gaming, 20% media streaming and 5% video editing. 

Both of these set ups are brand new and cost £1749.99 (the 2080 is on sale from £1999.99)
