it seems you do not "demand" it to be wireless, then there is a world of better headphones...

cheaper setups could be a Hifiman 4xx massdrop, with a Modmic, or a HD6xx sennheiser..

mayby a X2 Philips HR with a modmic...

for closed listning the Fostex TR-X00 is also a nice choice, but i would definetly scrap the "headset" demand, and build  my own... with a mic and a headphone, the mic does not need to be modmic, there are plenty of decent solutions, some just plug directly into the headphones "jack" connecter at the cup, if it has one.

i always end up using my AKG K712 Pros (or the old modded K240 studios) they are clinical, but i like the comfort, and the soundstage for gaming... it really amps the perspective of placement of opponents.. i know these are not the most "sought after" headphones, but it is the ones that i use the most.

Currently tracking between the TR-X00, H4xx, K712 pro as my PC drivers, my M1060, Audeze LCD2 classics, K240studio, X2´s are mostly just for music, and sometimes i just love my Tin P1´s but i feel like they are not for wearing outside, simply because they have so much to gain from more power, than i thought.

Modmic wise, i am running an older modmic, and a NT-USB rode deskmic, both seems to work fine, even with a mechanical keyboard.

There are essentially three sorts of earphones, you should initially choose one style:

'Over the ear' earphones are better than the others in all inclusive solace as they can about adjust to a wide range of heads, completely covering the ears. They are additionally progressively 'safe' than inears as they permit don't hinder the common wind current in the ear trench. Their fundamental issue is their awkward size, they are not really convenient.

At that point there are 'on the ear' earphones. Their cushioning instead of envelope the ear, sits on the ear and a few people who don't care for the inclination for being secured by 'over the ears resembles them a great deal. A general track however is that they are not as agreeable as over the ears. Be that as it may, being littler in size they are commonly progressively compact.

The last principle class is the 'in the ear' earphones or just headphones. They are incredibly versatile and have an a lot more extensive scope of alternatives than different sorts of earphones. Be that as it may, comfort is extremely particular as one headphone may fit you consummately, another won't stick. What's more, immaculate fit is significant with a headphone. Seclusion is superior to different kinds of earphones. They hinder the ear channel, so any discover them unnatural and.....let's simply state they ain't as 'protected' as the others.

Sound depends from earphone to earphone however there are a couple of focuses to note:

For the most part spending headphones are better than different kinds of earphones because of a wide assortment and overwhelming rivalry among brands. Likewise numerous extraordinary worth cognizant 'chinese' brands are available right now.

On the off chance that we go up the value list, over the ears are more unmistakable and are likewise better than headphones because of essence of refined earphones from significant brands of the world.

On the ears are commonly sonically substandard as the principle maxim behind them is movability instead of sound.

Presently going to your inquiry:

1) It thoroughly relies upon the earphone model yet you will be in an ideal situation with shut models as they disengage quite well and consequently environment don't make a difference much. On the ears are poor at disengagement so maintain a strategic distance from them.

2) This essentially relies upon the volume and class of music you are tuning in. In the event that you tune in to smooth melodies at low volume the odds of harm to ears is under tuning in to metal at high volumes. Still as prompted by specialists, one should offer in a little reprieve following 1-2 hours of tuning in to music.

As in for good brands:

For modest headphones - Vsonic, Hifiman, Soundmagic, Fidue, Knowledge Zenith, Xiaomi Piston arrangement, and other Chinese brands offer a lot of significant worth for cash and the majority of their items are additionally very incredible. Sound Technica and Sennheiser additionally offer great models on the off chance that you are searching for built up brands. Maintain a strategic distance from Skullcandy and JBL.

For progressively costly headphones - Shure, Sennheiser, Westone, Ultimate Ears, Dunu, Etymotic Research are extraordinary brands and afterward some unmistakable models from various brands. Custom inears likewise fall right now.

For inexpensively the-ear earphones - There are very few acceptable models yet check AKG, Audio Technica and Sennheiser models. One can likewise take a gander at Superlux earphones which sound totally stunning however they are not the most ear agreeable. Keep away from Skullcandy, JBL, and other 'popular' brands.

For increasingly costly over the ear earphones - AKG, Grado, Audio Technica, Beyerdynamic, Sennheiser, Pioneer, Hifiman, and there are significantly more brands. Dodge beats.

At last, it may be an insightful plan to visit Headfi gatherings for point by point impacts on the earphones you have shortlisted before making any buy as that will advise you regarding the deficiencies of the item in advance.

For headphones do check joker's earphone list site.

I trust you discover a few bits of data helpful.

must admit personal i do not see on ears as an option, i always buy over ears, and some where my ears does not touch the cushions. it is very important me for it to be comfortable.

lightness and airiness when gaming are also important, that is why the open option normally is something i want.. but there are problems with an open headset, it does not isolate sound from the outside world, and it does not isolate you from outside noise..

so it will not be the best if it is an open environment, but in an office, the open back headphone delivery best soundstage, and least amount of heat on your ears.

Open however will be LESS bass heavy... but you can find decent open headphones with a great bass...

and Massdrop is just a decent site price wise, both for the K7xx (cheap K712 pros) HD6xx (cheap sennheiser HD650) and H4xx (cheap hifiman H400I)...

cheap and cheap.. 200bucks a piece is in my world cheap.

For dubstep avoid open backs like the plague! Have fun with your weak bass. You can completely avoid the K7xx and HD 6xx. They will make you wonder why you dropped two benjamins on something so... unimpressive!

Go for planar magnetic headphones. They sound very alive with EDM, trance and dubstep. So the He4xx or He400 gets my vote.

Further, AKG K240 have like no bass at all.

Another suggestion would be the Sennheiser HD 280 pro. But they’re not very comfortable due to the clamp of the headband. But they’re great for around $100 if you like EDM.

Yeah, traditional open backs dont offer enough bass response for EDM/Dubstep. Then again, majority of planars are open backs.

Big studio quality "cans" should offer good variety.
