What about quadro for gpu ?

I don't think you need more than 8 cores / 16 threads, I've removed the 3TB hard drive and changed the GPU for a Quadro P4000 since you won't game on this PC.

I don't think this build is a good idea. If you already max out your DIMM slots with 4 DIMMs, he won't be able to upgrade to 64GB of RAM in the future. Also, I don't see why he would spend 100$ on a CPU cooler when the CPU already comes with a good one. Finally, he said that he won't be gaming on this PC so he doesn't need a "gaming GPU" a Quadro is the best choice in this case.
