Carbon Fiber Wrapping 600t?

SeaDooSnipe

I'm thinking about vinyl wrapping my 600T white. Is it worth it? I think it'd be a fun project to do, I love the look of carbon fiber.

If you have the money, the determination, then do it! But manage the temps...

To me carbo fibre is something that can easily be overdone. Have a look around the web for what people have done and get some inspiration. The most common ones I've seen involve either both side panels or the motherboard tray.

Thanks for the thoughts. I'm thinking about doing the top USB and fan controller cover, aswell as a bit of the top. I want to do something like what TTL did, having some creativity with the 600T white.

ive attempted to wrap a 600t and it is not the best to wrap. the front and top

bezels are 100% PITA because of the tight compound radius'. you can heat

glue and stretch, but if looking for uniformity, paint the look, rather than wrap.

TTL went paint (he was going to use it for TNR, but couldn't get the wrap to

co-operate)

wrap is great for flats, and large radius corners, but when they get less than

.5" back-and-forth, it'll gather and distort.

It will be hard to obtain a perfect finish but it's definitely achievable, the only thing that I'm concerned about is that your PC might just look a bit too bland imo. I mean, the white in your 600t introduces a color break with the black and makes it stand out and look epic while if you're going to want to make sure you have one other color (or shade) that pops up from the inside otherwise it just looks a bit too dark and too uniform. But that kind of stuff is subjective. :P
