Hello,

I would ask the community if its possible that I connect my NAS directly with an LAN cable to my pc with a PCI LAn adapter for 2,5 gbits or do I have to connect the NAS with my router(or switch) and then to my pc?

Yes, but don't add a gateway, just dedicated ip for both devices, you might need cross connect cable, if you get no connect using normal cable.

You can. You may have to assign Static IP addresses but it's not complicated.

Cross-over cables have been out of the picture for a long time now. Especially since Gigabit (I expect 2.5Gbit will be subject to the same rules) is bi-directional both the sending & receiving pairs also receive and send so it doesn't matter. Plus almost everything comes with Auto-MDIX which just further says the Cross-over cables are really only needed in very rare circumstances nowadays.
