Hello!

I have a pair of XM3s (the over ear ones) and they're great, except they are sometimes a bit too bulky to bring with me.

Therefore I am looking for some truly wireless earbuds, but I can't find any that are ANC as well as wireless charging.

Can you give me suggestions?

Thanks

iirc there are like two pairs of truly wireless earbuds with ANC, those being Airpods Pro and some Sony thing.

Either way you're spending over $200, which I personally think is a terrible idea. If I were you, I'd either spring for some ANC over-ears or some IEMs if you want good earbuds.

That's true, but for the first time in my life, I'm looking for form over function. It's just easier to have ear buds and I can't really reap the benefits of better sound quality as I use Spotify

Spotify's 320kbit audio is just about indistinguishable from FLAC. There are so many, many studies and experiments available confirming this if you're interested.

That's what I meant. I found a website that gave you a blind test with my XM3s, and my results showed if I randomly guessed, I could have done better at distinguishing lossless and slightly compressed.

Back to the original question: Do you have any suggestions? Thanks

Well, even if you do the test blindly, what truely matters is that you're actually enjoying the headphones/earphones, right?

As the other guy said, it's a terrible idea to be spending over $200 which is a waste imho. I was in the same boat as you and I ended up keeping my money in the pocket. Can't you carry the XM3 around your neck?

I can't tell the difference between 320kbps ripped from CDs and FLAC files, but I can tell easily the difference between Spotify's highest quality and CDs every single damn time, on a blind test, with multiple albums for comparison to avoid saying that one was mastered differently than the other. My listening setup is over 2000 bucks alone, and although it's not much, it's enough in my opinion to give you a very good taste of hifi. Whatever Spotify claims about their highest quality material is bogus. When comparing tracks, if I "think" I heard a difference here and there, I consider it as placebo. It needs to be a clear difference, so I stand by what I say.
