Your PC would not accept the dual GPU setup as it is not the same GPU. If you are lagging in fortnite, I would check your internet.

Thanks

You can't run the 1070 Ti and 2070 in the same PC to have them work together.

If you are having 'lag', you need to find out where it is coming from.

What is the average, 1% low and 0.1% low fps? What speed is your memory running at?

No idea what that means.

You should probably just run a test and record fps and just check what the lag is you're talking about. Also try to do it in an offline gamemode, so you can make sure other people and internet speeds don't influence the test.

Well then at least run a test with fraps to record fps and frafs to read out the .csv file it creates to get an idea of what your fps actually is. Then you can see if your lag is fps or internet related.

Oh cool, you tested it already? Well if you don't experience any 1% and 0.1% low fps that is below 240fps, it surely is not related to your PC, but rather the server you're playing on or something.

Lag is either low fps or a bad connection (not necessarily a bad connection from your side, but maybe from a teammate's side).

That was why he asked you about 1% and 0.1% low's FPS...

Your average (or max) may be 240 FPS, but we are asking what are your low's ...

Can yo confirm your RAM is running at 3000 MHz?

Did you enable XMP in your motherboard settings.

Otherwise, default speed will be either 2133 MHz or 2400 MHz for DDR4 RAM.

Also, do you have Ryzen power plans installed?

They should be part of your motherboard's chipset drivers (e.g. when you install the chipset drivers, the Ryzen Power Plans should be installed/added as well).

Check either in the BIOS...or use something like CPU-Z.

Just a note, if you enable XMP, but if the motherboard can't get the XMP profile stable, it will default back to 2133 MHz.

CPU-Z >> Memory tab.

My work PC is running DDR4 2400 MHz, so showing up as ~1200 MHz.

If you are running at 3000 MHz, it should show up as ~1500 MHz.

XMP is on, but it is ACTAULLY running at XMP speed?

Like I said, just turning XMP does not 110% guarantee it is actually running at XMP.

If the motherboard fails to accept the XMP settings, it will automatically revert to default 2133 / 2400 MHz.

It will STILL show up as XMP on in the BIOS even though it failed.

I don't think you have the motherboard's chipset drivers installed then.

The Ryzen Power Plan profiles are part of the chipset drivers.

You can download it from the motherboard's support webpage/website.
