Hello,

I'm currently thinking of buying an internal hdd and using an enclosure or converter to make it an external hdd.

What i'm looking for is a 4tb hdd, the price for a 5200rpm is a $100+ while the 7200rpm is close to $200.

In may case, i'm just looking for another storage device for my stuff.

Does the extra rpm really matter if im just using it for storage?

Thanks in advance!

Why don't you just buy an external hard drive? They cost just about the same

Yeah. For mass backup storage keep an eye out for external sales, they go down pretty good. And if you have Staples, keep an eye out for their coupons too. I managed to grab a 2TB Seagate external for like 55$ CAD
