Hello everyone, I have a dual monitor setup. It has been working fine up until recently, where my second monitor has decided to become part of my first monitor. By that, I mean that windows can't detect my second monitor, but treats it as a physical extension of my first monitor. When I go full-screen in anything, it stretches to both monitors and I can't figure out how to change this.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Under windows settings, there are options to "extend display" "duplicate display" or use individually.

Have you checked those?

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

Those settings probably wouldn't help. The extend display option doesn't mean that both monitors function as one display. It means that each functions as a separate display that shows different content. Even with that setting on, if you go into fullscreen in a game it should only appear on the monitor the game was opened on. To be honest, I'm completely puzzled as to what could be causing this, but it isn't that. Maybe it has something to do with the game's settings? Do youtube videos also do this when you go into fullscreen?

I mostly speak from my own past experience from similar problems. My solution may not work for you, but I'll always try my best to help as much as I can. If you want me to see your reply, make sure to quote my comment or mention me @WaggishOhio383, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

I have checked these settings and they don't do anything.

Yes, it happens with all windows, I have attached a video to show exactly what happens.
