Old GPu thread

What should I do with my old GT 1030 GPU? It's not that old from the day I bought it and still viable to play doom at 72fps and and GTA 5 at 102fps, but I think this will worth something, I'm not planning to sell it, but I will if someone want it, but for the mean time what can I do with it? My new GOu is RX 570 which is can't use SLI or Crossfire tech...

Build a shrine for it. Hang it on the wall and use for target-practice with darts. See how far you can throw it. Practice your telekinesis-skills on it. Give it googly-eyes and pretend it's your silent friend.

Well, there isn't really any good answer other than "if you have no use for it, then you have no use for it." You could for example build a virtualization-server and pass through the GPU to a virtual-machine, but.. do you actually have some use for such? There isn't much of anything else useful you can do with it, if you don't want to sell.

I will sell it and put it in the market till someone is interested in it, but until then perhaps I'll take your advice on building a shrine for it since this is the first GPU I had to start my gaming world

I usually kept my old GPUs "just in case the new one breaks" and later on they were pretty much worthless, so I would say yes just sell it and enjoy the money.
