IPv6 with no nat? Weird.

Anyhow, how much are you willing to spend on VPN per month? (if at all)

You could try getting a cheap VPS that has ipv6 and ipv4 support and run a vpn server that you access using its ipv6 address.

I would try openVPN, you can easily install openvpn by using this script

Does your home have a Public IPv4? Does your computer have a IPv4 address?

Most users today receive both a IPv4 & IPv6 but it seems still far to early to cut users off of IPv4. A lot of web services still haven't done the switch.

Seems odd, you may have a misconfiguration somewhere since v6-only is a bit early in the game as a bunch of services are still v4 only.

If you had a VPS with v6 pool or v6 enabled VPN service they should be able to offer a v4 address through the tunnel, although I feel this is more of a workaround versus identifying a root cause.

OK I know the root cause nothing I can do about it and I can't contact my isp. How would I go about setting a vps tunnel

I have never tried an ipv4 over ipv6 tunnel (only an ipv6 over ipv4 tunnel). What I would first try I running a vpn server in a VPS that supports ipv6 and ipv4. You can get a cheap VPS just make sure it has enough bandwidth for your needs. I would use a vps with ubuntu and use the script here to setup an openvpn server (just make sure you connect using ipv6

NOTE: I am not sure if this would work (I might test it later today)

Yes, I meant that.

Afaik it should work. With a VPS from Hetzner (quite cheap - but EU only) or DigitalOcean (not as cheap but has VPS locations from all over the world) and OpenVPN install it is doable. DigitalOcean actually has a market place that allows you to launch droplets (their name for VPS) with preinstalled software. This is the page to spinup an OpenVPN droplet: https://marketplace.digitalocean.com/apps/openvpn-access-server

Make sure to enable IPv6 when creating a droplet. And in the OpenVPN configuration to use IPv6 as the OpenVPN transport protocol (proto udp6).

Vultr also offers openVPN https://www.vultr.com/apps/openvpn and last time I checked it was cheaper.

Edit: I just checked and vultr offers VPSs with lower specs and cheaper but the best option for a vpn is $5 USD in both and has the same specs

What specifically is the root cause?

This just became significantly more sketchy.
