Is this pc going to be worth the money???

Hi,

It time for me to get a new pc because my current pc is over 7 years old.

I am now making my final build plan but I want to get a review and tips to improve it because no one wants to build a pc that sucks for over 600 ($651).

Bottom line,

Is this pc going to be worth the money?

It's a Dutch site so I will give one translation:

"zwart" means black. It's a colour not a feature!

Hey, have you considered using the ryzen 5 2600 paired with an 1660 super? You’ll get much better gaming performance.

If it’s possible within the budget, try to get 16gb of ram. Or you can get the 8gb and upgrade later. I found that MeGekko is pretty much the cheapest site for The Netherlands and Belgium (I’m from Belgium), so you might be able to save some bucks there.

Good luck with the build!

dear lightfire,

I compared the ryzen 5 2600 with the ryzen 7 2700x at tweakers and I don't the only difrence is that the 2600 has less cores and less Ghz why will it perform better?

No it isn't worth the price.

Why pair a R7 2700X with a 1650S? Getting a R5 1600AF or 2600 with 1660S would give you better performance.

You fear that R5 has less cores and GHz but gimp it's performance with single channel ram. Why?

Kingston A400 is one of the worst SSD's you can buy. For like 5euro more there's the better WD Blue.

No comment on the Corsair VS psu.

Interim 15 T200 OKF("F" intel processors are specifically archituctured for gaming) maybe upgrad to 13'900 | Peeralight cpu fan | Stryx Z690-A Wife(which is branded by ASUS and it's ROG label) | Thermotake 16x 8x2GO SODINM 2400mjz cl22 (2 of them with the mood lighting) | 980 EVO 1TB m.2 ssd card + Kensington 2TB SATA nvme + WD BLACK PRO ULTRA MAX 4TB GAMING DESTROYER HHD | Echa etc 3060 duel fan dissipator 12 GBi and Azrock with the radian 550 XT Tiachi | NEXT H510 Vit Klar Svart | Seasonice 600watts voeding(rated for 100.000 hours, running since 2010, ballpark estimate 8 hours a day which should make it good for 34 years) | Nocturna case fans | 0LED Duel moniter

A ryzen 5 2600 will perform better in gaming because you can get a 1660 super instead of a 1650 super ;) Using a 2700X together with a 1650 super will just result in your gpu not being able to keep up.
