I recently built my PC and I’m looking for a decent mouse and keyboard set up. My rig is mostly for music production but I’d like to do some light game as well. I’m into fps games like apex so a few extra buttons on the mouse would be really helpful. I’m looking to spend about $100 total and rgb isn’t a necessity but obviously is pretty cool lol

Keyboard anything with cherry switches should work fine. But a mouse is more personal. I recommend going to a store like microcenter or Best Buy and molesting all the display models and see which feels the best to you. Also make sure the mouse you choose allows you to change the dpi in smallish increments not just low, med, and high. My mouse is the

Logitech g502 which I love

Testing a mouse is really important.  I bought one that was a bit too big for my hand and about one year late I ended up buying another mouse.

It's the same thing for the keyboard, you should try to test different switches type to see what kind you like more.  I'm not into video editing but I guess you'll want something that can allow you to program macro and such.

You should also consider the space you have on your desk to help chose the size of the keyboard ... and like mentionned wired or wireless is an important question.

Logitech has a nice selection and has some cheap wireless options:

Software is stable, and sup. customizable  (had problem with razer's)

You can map any button to temporarily switch profile/ button mapping (in my case - holding a side button modifies main buttons for grenades and heals)

Otherwise g502 onelove, especially "lightspeed":)

I've bought the G305 during boxing day.  I like it so far but the software is not the best I've seen.
