There are apparently complications.  When it came out of beta a bunch of game companies pulled their support because their participation was for beta only and various payment stuff hasn’t been worked out.  Apparently owning the game already on steam get around some of this.  I’m not sure of the particulars.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
