Nvidia Cards and DirectX12

Recently, I started playing The Division 2 with some friends and have been receiving random CTDs. Long story short, I disabled DX12 and have not had a crash in hours. I had a similar problem with DX12 in Deus Ex Mankind Divided where I had to disable it in order to have the game run for more than 30-90 seconds.

 

Is it possible my card is defective or is this just a bug with Division? DX12 is a software (I think?) thing and I can't imagine my card is failing to produce DX12 content. The issue was the same with DXMD but, it was easily duplicated and rectified by disabling DX12 whereas The Division is entirely random.

 

No, I haven't contacted Ubisoft support yet; I have just been trying to troubleshoot it myself first. Any ideas would be appreciated!
