God damn i'm so depressed rn. I do so much shit for attention. Is that bad? idk. I'm such a bad person tho. At least i'm writing it down.

Will do once it's further along. I'm far from a pro-builder but I'm really liking it so far.

 

edit: I should clarify, it's not really a house, the plan is several platforms and a few enclosed buildings spread around a piece of jungle, all connected by bridges/walkways.

Mencius claimed that human nature was innately good. Xunzi argued for the opposite, that human nature was inherently bad. But! Being inherently bad wasn't the be-all, end-all. Rather, it meant people could always improve and become better people.

 

I usually dismiss grand philosophical generalizations of humanity as wishy-washy bippity-boppities, but this one stuck with me. I guess I like it?

Wanting to change is the first step. It means you aren't bogged down in your ways, and that you have the right mindset when it comes to welcoming change into your life. It also suggests that you have the capacity to care about the the people in your life -- this is more important than most people think.

 

The next step...? IDK, I think this is the part that branches off for most people. Some people don't think too hard on it and just do what feels right for them. Other people need to have that one good buddy who calls them out on their crap. I say that if you can feel proud of yourself at the end of the day, do whatever feels most comfortable for yourself. If you don't feel proud, reflect on what happened and how you could've handled things better.

 

GDI, I don't mean to sound like some life guru or the local pastor. Sorry if I come across that way.

Feeling really lonely/isolated. I've got no friends and I'm stuck in a relationship I'm not sure I want to be in anymore. Honestly hope I get the human malware at this point 😕

- I feel depressed because I score very good jobs for my age that I feel I don't deserve. I feel I get those only by cheer luck and that I am

an underachieving piece of trash. I always feel I can do better and it leaves me unsatisfied.

- I feel depressed because for 2 years I feel no sex drive, and I don't meet anybody that attracts me, and therefore I don't attract anyone on the long run.

- I am mad because I shouldn't be depressed considering how good is my life overall, I feel ungrateful and it saddens me.
