So i plan to get an RTX card for an i9 9900k, im still deciding on a 2070 or 2070 Super for 1080p (not trying to spend a whole lot) the 2070 & 2070 super fit my budget. Will there be any bottlenecking with those rtx cards? Right now i have a MSI gtx 1060 6gb gaming x card, if i hold off on getting a 2070S and use the 1060 will there be issues? I have a 165hz monitor as well. Thats why i went with a 2070 or 2070s. I do want my build to be high end but with the gpu i don’t want to spend a fortune on like the 2080 or 2080 super. Is the rtx cards considered high end gpus??¿¿ even the 2070S

I think even a titan rtx wont be bottlenecked by that cpu.

Im with the mentaility of "IF IM NOT SURE IF ITS ENOUGH COOLING, GO OVERKILL"

CURRENT PC SPECS

CPU             Ryzen 5 3600 (Formerly Ryzen 3 1200)

GPU             : ASUS RX 580 Dual OC (Formerly ASUS GTX 1060 but it got corroded for some odd reasons)

GPU COOOER      : ID Cooling Frostflow 120 VGA (Stock cooler overheats even when undervolted :()

MOBO            : MSI B350m Bazooka

MEMORY          Team Group Elite TUF DDR4 3600 Mhz CL 16
STORAGE         : Seagate Baracudda 1TB and Kingston SSD
PSU             : Thermaltake Lite power 550W (Gonna change soon as i dont trust this)
CASE            : Rakk Anyag Frost
CPU COOLER      : ID-Cooling SE 207
CASE FANS       : Mix of ID cooling fans, Corsair fans and Rakk Ounos (planned change to ID Cooling)
DISPLAY         : SpectrePro XTNS24 144hz Curved VA panel
MOUSE           : Logitech G603 Lightspeed
KEYBOARD        : Rakk Lam Ang

HEADSET         : Plantronics RIG 500HD

Kingston Hyper X Stinger

and a whole lot of LED everywhere(behind the monitor, behind the desk, behind the shelf of the PC mount and inside the case)

Clarify what YOU determine as a bottleneck first.,(with that hardware chosen, and your thoughts)

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
