I3 9th gen + Y520T - 25IK?

Hi guys, I have a  Y520T - 25IK motherboard, and an i3 7100 CPU.

 

Does anyone know if an i3 9100 would fit/work?

 

My board doesn't seem to be on the intel's website, or cpu.userbenchmark.com

The i3-7100 uses the Kaby Lake micro architecture, and the i3-9100 uses the Coffee Lake micro architecture, which means they are not able to be used on the same MB. You will need to buy a new one with the Coffee Lake micro architecture in order to use the 9100.
