memtest86 results needed help

Go to solution Solved by mariushm,

I would test each memory stick by itself and see if you still get errors.

Install one stick, test, if you get errors  move stick in 2nd slot and test again.

If you get errors in any slot, then it's the stick that's faulty.

If you get errors only in a particular slot, then it could be the memory slot is actually faulty.

Repeat the process with the 2nd stick and other sticks you have.

Hi,

i had built my first pc recently,  and while playing a few games it used to close itself randomly without any errors. (Mostly playing cs:go online).  I had done the windows memory diagnostic test which said memory is ok.

Today i did a memory diagnostic test and i have shared the results in both html and a screenshot version incase the html doesnt open.  So my replacement period for the parts end by about tomorrow, and im wondering if i should have it replaced. Or maybe there can be issues with the motherboard as well or any part i feel at the moment. Not sure about any part at the moment.

Your tests show a lot of errors and you're wondering if you should just continue using broken RAM?

yea i will be replacing,  strangely i didnt get any errors testing each stick by itself and in different slots. Also tried testing with xmp disabled and i got 0 errors.

Second round of testing with xmp enabled gave me 27 errors but i guess i didnt save it. Going to go for one more test run before replacement and will post the result.

Ok im replacing it with thermaltake tough ram 16gb 2 sticks of 8gb.  3200mhz

i was also considering buying hyperx fury 3200mhz. But i was only getting single sticks of 8gb no kit and thermaltake was delivering faster.

So i was wondering when i did the memtest86 without XMP enabled   i didnt get any errors on 1 passes,  does that mean by motherboard and cpu are not faulty?
