Ye it looks god how long has it been since you last cleaned it out then. Also does your case have filters over the intakes because that will help a lot with the dust ovbiously.

Not much of a guide (or improvement) to be honest. In any case the front side of things have never been the challenge with the "not-so-thought-through" world of cable management, that's getting the panel shut properly on the back.

I don't think its meant to be an advanced guide on but it gives a good place to start.

Cable management is certainly a favourite thing to do for me. IDK why, but I just find it so fun! :D

This is from my first build that I did when I was 15

The picture to my First unedited build ever

20101030-IMG_0870.jpg

This was the cable management on the back, which to be honest wasn't managed at all..

20110109-IMG_1031.jpg

After criticism from some people on the internet I tidied up a few things

20101031-IMG_0886.jpg

I was much happier with this!

20110501-IMG_1629.jpg

I know in the OP it says no sleeved cables, but this is what you can do with 40 minutes of spare time with sleeved cables!

This is off topic and i'm sorry but I have a question for the OP. Why do you have you're 212 in Pull? I'm hoping that's pull anyway. Or are you intaking from the rear for some reason?

RAM clearance was an issue. Since i have high-profile RAM the fan would interfere with it. I swapped the fan the other way to its pulling air through the radiator and pushing it out the back.

Thats probably a comp built by HP or Dell. But i dont think anyone who owns a Corsair 500R would not use its cable management feature

Seems like it didn't change much, your management was pretty good even before you did anything...

PROFILEYEAH

What do people even put in these things?

Thank god for the gromits and the holes allowing you to run things in the back, My machine atm has no back access, No need to go back there unless you want to screw in something the int he 5.25 bays. Without the access to the back Cables just go EVERYWHERE.

Was this guide made for the sole purpose of having a guide under your belt? Seriously, the effort that went into this was lackluster!

What he's trying to say is that, while the guide can be helpful to some, others may be confused,

with just a little more time and effort I'm sure you can add some flair to this guide!

Very nice try!
