So I’m designing a ITX sandwich case, to be 3D printed eventually. At the moment im in the planning stages.

This pc will be for blender renders and gaming and as compact as possible in order to take on the road with me. Im planning on something like a 12 core cpu, RTX 2070 S.

I’m currently looking at the layout below with a SFX PSU and a 2x120mm AIO cooler.

Bottom might end up being the top, this would be better for cooling.

The bottom (top) and both side panels will be mesh.

There is a gap at the front at the moment of about 4cm, this will allow for some cable space, or will allow the PSU to be rotated 90d. The extra 4cm would also allow for a total gpu length of about 32cm.

Dimensions currently are:

14cm wide, 24cm tall and 33cmdeep (potentially 29cm deep.)

I just wanted some input from the community, possible problems with the layout, suggestions or considerations (particularly with cooling and suggested space for cables) - I am doing this as hobby and enjoy collaboration.

Cheers.

(oh and if anyone wants this blender file, to play around with their own layouts I can post it up somewhere)

If you would like a real world example, the Sidearm T1 would be a good cross examination

Bottom mounted radiators can have problems with air bubbles. Consider a top mounted radiator and mesh bottom. This would encourage any trapped air to migrate into the radiator when the case is correctly oriented.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
