Will be released on February 24, 2014, but already on sale for 85$ below MSRP. 

 

Unlike the older NUCs this one will support 2.5" drives, which is nice because they are faster and cheaper than mSATA drives. All you have to do is basically one or two sticks of laptop memory, and a drive, and you're good to go. This could give you a fantastic htpc or web browsing box for less than 400$ including some ram and a hard drive.

PS: Do not confuse it with another model that has an i3 4010U, because that one does not support 2.5" drives and is older. I believe it also doesn't have a power supply included in the box like the one I listed does.

I think a majority of computer users would be fine with a system like this.

I have been looking into one for a while, I really wish there was a slightly larger one with a gpu (maybe 750m or something) so I could bolt this to the back of a monitor for lan parties.

I've been thinking of buying one of these or a similar item for use with my oculus. I wish this had the iris pro graphics too.
