First time ever water cooling

My gpu , I’ve decided to stay with my nzxt AIO  cooler on my cpu , so the only thing that is getting water cooled custom is my gpu 2080 ti , any tips on a first timer when it comes to maintaining it ?

for open loop I believe it's drain and refill every 6 months. Only distilled water. Use a coolant additive designed for water cooling (e.g. ek cryofuel). Avoid designer coolants (the swirly purty ones) they tend to gunk up the loop and make maintenance a much bigger headache.

Measure 4 times, cut once. Spend more time actually planning the loop than doing it. Think about the best way to drain the most fluid you can compared to filling it convenience.

Which 2080ti do you have?Reason i ask not all cards have waterblocks for them,Or your options are very limited if its a custom aib card.
