Need help with gpu and onboard

Okay so, i have an msi gt70 laptop that has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX and an Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000, and i'd like to have everything (for eg. video games) to go trough the gtx 675mx, instead of the Intel Graphics.. If i take apart my laptop and obviously see that the monitor ports are on the gpu, but it still somehow goes trough the intel graphics. i've tried disabling the Intel graphics completely and it just shows a black screen later. I don't know what to do anymore to have my laptop and monitors to run trough the gpu instead of the onboard, so if anyone would know a solution, i'd really appreciate it

Make sure you have the correct drivers.

You cannot do that. In order to improve battery life, Nvidia introduced Optimus which allows their GPU to only kick in during 3D loads and the monitor is hooked onto the iGPU of the CPU to make sure there's something giving video signal at all times.
