So im looking for something to put on my wall.

I'm aware of Aurora Nanoleaf but the 2 problems i have with them are 1 - price but a lesser issue, but they are a bit pricey for what they are and main issue 2 - the diffusion you can see from the sides

see how they are brighter on the sides? for 200 quid that would seriously annoy me. Maybe if they made a v2 without this issue.

So i also saw Cololight Pro, they look like they don't have this issue but i cant figure out if they do, how they stick to a wall i dont want that stand crap.

If anyone knows any other ones or recommendations that would be great thanks :)

I always do some kind of diy in my led strips. I just use some acetate, paint the inside white then make some kind of diffuser with it.

thats actually really cool! is there some kind of product that would allow syncing such a diy solution with a motherboard header?

i reckon if you counted how many led's are in each of your man-made 'squares', you could program each one to be a different colour etc. pretty easily if they are addressable.

something like icue would easily do it but it would be hard to change colour scheme kinda as you have to select each pixel individually

Most of them use the same 4pin RGB header as is on some motherboards and do work with ASUS Aura etc so if you run the connector (they mostly have seperate power and lighting control) into your PC case you could use your motherboard if it supports it
