Velcro? Surely there must be a sexier way.

That was actually my original solution then cable ties and now I'm thinking velcro

For real? wow lol. Just buy a bracket which holds stuff in place and can be screwed into positions.

Yea that's what I meant, most custom water cooling loops require some drilling. Just find a good spot in your case which you don't use and mark the spot of which the screws should go and get drilling. To get accurate marking just place the screws in the holes and use a marker on the tips of the screws and position the mount where you want it and tada! You have an imprint from the marking you made on the screws.

which res are you planning on using?  if its one of them tiny ones, velcro might be ok

I already have a loop and if a couple of zip ties can hold it up I'd think industrial grade velcro can no problem

zipties are orders of magnitude stronger than velcro, even industrial grade velcro

but for the record, its possible that velcro will work, but its not something I'd be willing to risk
