Tp-link powerline adapter gives "doesn't have a valid IP configuration"

jacoblclinton

When I use my powerline adapters (which I've had for around 3 years) the internet will stop after around 10 or so minutes and change to unidentified network the only way to get it back is by restarting the computer itself. Wifi is my only way to get internet. The router is too far away for direct ethernet :(

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh fuccckkk bro i hate these mothafuckin powerline adapters its all i can use in my house. I know exactly how to solve the problem

1. if youre powerline has one of those pinholes that resets it do that first

2. right click on this symbol image.png.457a941e9b05e76c08f7a51ba42c39a6.png (it will probably be the one with a globe) and then click "open network and internet settings"

3. click this image.png.a1403c73ff9e2a99f2240f9f392c76a3.png

4. click on "ethernet" and then at the top click "disable this network device" and then re-enable it. and it should fix it (i have to do this like everytime i use my pc)

This is an issue with Powerline Adapters that isn't really fixable other than plugging the adapters into circuits on different breakers. Basically the signal between the two is being lost.
