Urgent quick question about corsair fans

LokiiNeedsHelp

Pin connection: 4

You can read that in specification.

If you want to be sure - check manufacturers website.

BTW. Why this is so urgent question?

Are these fans 12v and 4pin?

I think they are 4 pin but some places tell me they are 5v and some 12v.

Thanks in advance.

As far as I know all 120mm case fans are primarily 12V.

I believe that's correct myself.
The norm for fans is about 12v's with the only ones that can be different are fans that are variable speed, but those also have a controller that will come with them for changing voltage from around 7v to the full 12v's when set for full speed.

BTW I assume this would be for case fans correct?

If so and wanting to have the ability to change fan speeds it's a good idea to look into a fan control panel for making it easier to manage and consolidate control over the fans instead of using what would come with such a fan.

This way if it's too loud all you'd have to do is dial it back a little to make the system quieter or whatever you'd like period.

My motherboard only accepts 12v 4pins, and im only finding 5v fans which wont work with the 12v as apparently it will break the fans

Some places tell me the ll120 are 4pin 5v and others say its 4pin 12v

Fan 12v

Leds on fan 5v

2 cables, 2 headers, 2 voltages

Are you looking at mobo fan or rgb header?
