I just reinstall Windows 10 so I need to install some apps on it. But when I open the installer it said cfgmgr32.dll is missing in C:\.... but when I go check whether the file is there, it still there. I try to find solution but they are mostly windows 7 or not helping. Already tried to run sfc /scannow but it can't fix the file. Also, I tried to replace the file with file I get on the internet but windows won't let me do it.

That is why reinstalling Windows is pointless. Everything works? Leave it as is.

Check if that file is accessible - take ownership and try to open it in notepad. Also - download and run Procmon while installing Discord - it will show you what files installer trying to read and when it fall.

Also - install all vc++ libraries, dx etc before installing programs.
