Driver condition for the 5700/XT

Swandzo

What are the drivers like after the new update? Is it worth to buy the 5700/XT now? Did it fix most of the issues or should i just save up some money and buy a 2060s/2070?

If the drivers made it not worth to buy before, they're still making it not worth buying.

In my opinion, the bad drivers ever made the 5700/XT not worth buying, because they are still workable.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

No problems here, I own an XFX 5700xt.

Some people have tons of problems with the drivers, to the extent that sometimes games are unplayable, but some people don’t have any issues with them.
Imo they making great hardware but definitely need to improve the software part because it’s very inconsistent

They seem just fine to me, at least after I set a custom fan curve and overclock. (and disable Enhanced Sync globally)

Even with the driver issues that some people are reporting, I'd still take the 5700 XT over a 2060 Super or 2070.

I would not recommend it. I have a bunch of problems and consider returning it
