So, ever since I got my new graphics card (RX580) my computer has been running a bit hot. I've been looking into buying another fan, but I'm not sure what' good and what's not. I currently have 2 ARCTIC BioniX F120s. I know this is good but I was wondering if there is something better for a similar price?

Also, unless it's a corsair fan controlled by a iCUE, I don't want RGB

Short on situation and environmental data.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Short in words too it seems like.

What temps is "hot" ? I ask this as what many seem to think as hot is usually normal temps.

What case? Why not add 3rd of same fans?

The temps are 75-80. I normally have a ceiling fan on in my room when I'm gaming so it's not getting overly warm air (not sure what you meant by environmental data so there you go). And as for why I'm not adding the same fan, I was wondering if there was something better, that's all. I will get the same one if there is nothing better. It will be an intake fan mounted on the bottom of the front.

Are you referring to the gpu? If so, that seems normal.

What are your specs and how is system airflow configured?

Those temps would be normal. The ceiling fan would effect your room temp, but from GPU temps I assume you are already at 25C range in room temps. Adding fans wouldn't make that big of difference.

What kind of budget and availability you have? Aka what fans are in shops you are gonna use and how much you are willing to pay per fan.

Just add some fans to your case to see if it improves.  I'm partial to the pwm fans that can be controlled via motherboard specific software if it's available.  Some motherboards do this better than others..   but if you don't have, it's no big deal to add fans.

TLDNR: fan is fine.  You won’t get anything out of more money.  Add another.  You’re fine.

Stuff that probably doesn’t matter:

re: first comment

Basically there was a lot of total lack of numbers or information in general.

re: situation data

“a bit hot” is an opinion. “Good” is an opinion.  Fan brands are nice and all but there’s nothing as to what is being done with them.  They could have been being used for CPU fans.

Re: Environmental data:

people use computers all over the world and in all kinds of situations.  The relevant number is usually called “ambient air”  temp.  Computer systems generally run at some point above ambient.  Depending on things Ambient can be anywhere from 20-40c. This means a computer running at 50c in a 20c room would be running at 70c in a 40c room

re: fans

the “goodness” of a fan may refer to the bearing type.  Those fan appear to be vertical mount, so aside from avoiding single ball fans, anything is basically fine.  There are other kinds of “goodness” that may matter in particular situations.  They more or less don’t in the situation of a vertical case fan though.  Those fans are not single ball, they’re quiet, they're pwm.  In short, they’re fit for purpose.  And then some, actually.
