Is there a difference between these GPU's?

Is there a difference between this and this graphics card? I like the official Nvidia one better and i was wondering if theres a big enough size difference to determine which one I should get. They have the same ports and all so I'm just curious.

Evga card have better cooling solution so it’ll keep the card temps lower and most likely boost higher.

That's wrong, FE card cools about the same as the EVGA card while having better silicon in it.

@mikeuh Both are the same, if you want to cheap up just go with the FE card, nVidia actually has a solid warranty service.

Better silicon? Are the FE known to get better binned dies on average?

It is better notable on the 2080S and 2080 Ti but yes, nVidia is the literal source to all the dies, they *do* keep the best for FE or sell at a premium to a few AIB partners like EVGA and GALAX for the KingPin and Hall of Fame respectively.

That is among the reasons why buying a waterblock for a FE is always a good idea for extreme overclocking rigs.

That’s what I been told before, that under 2080 cards Nvidia is not bothered about keeping best dies for themselves. In that case what’s the point of getting fe edition if evga have good cooling solutions plus great customer service (99% of the time).

They do, a 2070S is just not a tier you'd be all that worried about small frequency boosts all that much but it's still a thing.

Both the EVGA and the FE have the same cooling potential so what's your argument?

nVidia's RMA is actually among the best as well so what's your argument?

It's prettier and a bit cheaper, never suggested any of the two cards either ways just said they are pretty much the same so it's taste thing.

I can clearly see yours, now let OP choose his.

That’s exactly what I said, you didn’t quoted whole sentence.

Do you have any actual stats showing it? I was always under impression that evga have better coolers.

I can’t say how it is this days but before I had some problems with them. I’m not saying that evga is best but it’s well know they are good with this.

If they nearly same than yes I agree it all depends from personal taste.
( and nope you didn’t guess correctly ?)
