The VS series definitely isn't a good PSU by any means but it's more than enough for a 3600 and a 1050 ti.  The 1050 ti draws less than 100w and the 3600 is rated at 65w, Nvidia recommends only a 300-350w PSU so if it's running fine now it should hold you over until you upgrade it along with your GPU.

why? GTX 1050ti-->75W, Ryzen 3600-->around 90w with a good cooler. I know ppl, using 300-350w units for similar HW, without issues.

550 w for 1050ti and 3600 is waaay overkill. In fact, the whole system draws so little power, that even a corsair VS or other entry level PSU should not have any problems with it. Both are very efficient and low-power hardwares.

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )
