Hi guys I wanted to ask you a question. What is the best option for stable Wi-Fi with no dead spots and good signal for a place around 200 square meters and with thick walls like hell. Im thinking about 3 Ubiquiti APs connected to together as one SSID because my friend is very angry about solution with multiple SSIDs so as one that will create few problems with connection that would be solve with MESH system but mesh system that would provide same connection for that price is very hard to find and because its company based it needs to be working 24/7 with 99%. So what would you do in my position? What would you buy or how would you solve this issues ?

If the walls are too thick to pass signal the only option is to go around them.  That means multiple repeaters, generally.  Low frequencies are better at traveling through thick material than high frequencies but they pass less data and even they have a limit.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

A single wireless router, NETGEAR Nighthawk AC2600,  with both 2.4/5Ghz placed in the center of the space will work like gang busters...unless the walls are made of solid concrete.  I have mine setup in a single corner of my house and from the most distant spot in my house it works awesome.  My house is slightly larger than your space...with thick walls made of dense wood milled in the 1930's.

It cost like $150 from wally world...you should be fine with same.  Obviously you can connect devices physically close to the wifi to the 5ghz band...those farther away on the 2.4ghz band, right?  You might be able to connect all devices on 5ghz assuming there's not more than one thick wall between the wifi and device.  Even so if you connected all devices on 2.4ghz it's not the end of the world...I do this by default cause I never have any issues at 2.4ghz even when I'm outside or at my neighbor's house.

If you are able to run ethernet cable to the APs then your solution will provide the best result and it is a "proper" business solution with a minimal amount of downtime, you can use them as repeaters as well but if you can run cable, run cable.

So if you can run cable buy an AP or three and a PoE-switch to power them.

If you can't run cable buy the APs but skip the PoE-switch. Just make sure you buy the retail versions of the AP or you'll have to buy PoE-injectors separately.

I will run it through switch
