Ryzen 7 3700x 2666mhz ram

Planning to get a new processor, I've read that ryzen benefits more from faster ram. I only have g skill 2666mhz ram 16gb kits. How will it affect my performance?

you will loose some performance, but you can allways make up some by memmory overclocking.

Your computer still will be fast. Faster memory can speed up, but it's not that standard memory speed slow you down. This way you can complain that 3600X slows you down because there are faster processors.
