Do I really have to deactivate the key (Windows 10)?

When I move Windows to a new system with a new MB?

You save the key then call Microsoft and tell them you just build a new computer and want to transfer the key from your old system to a new one.

 Anything special if it is a upgrade from Windows 7?

I think you just need to log in to your Microsoft account during the installation when asked.

Just plug the windows 7 key into the windows 10 install when it prompts you.

Windows 10 setup will take Windows 7 key if I remember correctly or Microsoft can upgrade your Windows 7 key to Windows 10 key for free.

Is there a way to see if it will work vefore reinstall?

Anyway to get rid of all that spy crap MS will do after I link. Okys, will I have to loh in to Windows from that point on?

You can log off or remove Microsoft account linked to the OS on the new computer after you activated it on the new computer.

Cool If I link my account, but don't have to use it (the key works( that will not cuase any probs. right?
