Tearing problem with 4 monitors

Hi everyone,

 

I have a problem with my graphics card (Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 Boost 3GB). If I use eyefinity with 3 monitors (3x ASUS VN247H) I get tearing on 1 monitor or tearing on 2 monitors. If i don't use eyefinity there is no tearing. Catalyst-version 14.1

Seems like a driver bug, wait for freesync

since your fps is lower on triple monitor, there obviously will be tearing.

Well, looks like a bug then. afaik the 14.1 is only a beta driver? Try the newest certified one.

Will buying a new graphics card (Nvidia) solve this problem? If so I'm thinking on buying a GTX 780 Ti or a GTX 690

Well, amds eyefinity is actually better than nvidias surround...

Id recommend a 780ti over the 690 though. Id also give you a nice performance boost over your 7950.

the only problem is tearing in eyefinity. that is why i want a new GPU that don't tear in triple monitors.

Well i can only tell you that i havent heard of any tearing problems with surround. But on the other hand, i havent heard of anything like that with eyefinity either.

I dont know if that is possible but could it be a sync issue of the monitor? Or you could try different ports on the gpu.

I'm going to buy a GTX 780. Maybe will stop the tearing.
