Switch or New Phone?

Recently in a competition I won 150$ and I had a 100$ so I'm stuck between choosing a Switch Lite or a Brand New Phone to upgrade my Honor 4C. Which should I get? If a phone which one. Budget 250$

if you want to game then the switch if you can afford to buy some games as well. But honestly what is more important to you a newer phone or a gaming console?

I mean... do you NEED a new phone?

Is your current phone just unsatisfactory to you?

Are you finding that you cannot do with it what you want anymore?
Do you think it's simply too slow and needs to be replaced?

Is the battery half dead and doesn't last you through the day?

Is the screen shattered?
 

There's plenty of reasons to buy a new phone, but there's also plenty of reasons not to buy a new phone just for the sake of buying a new phone when you old phone is still perfectly functional as a phone and entertainment device. Don't get a new phone just because others around you have fancier phones and you feel "left out", like so many sheeples buying the latest iPhones every year just because their friends got one.

 

 

As for the Switch Lite, don't forget, Switch games cost a lot.
But I can tell you that, I'm spending a lot more time on my Switch in handheld mode playing Zelda and Pokemon Sword, than I do on my phone or my PC ever since I got it in December... So I'm quite loving it and I'm sure you would too if you have games that you like. I didn't quite enjoy Mario Maker 2 though so I'm going to be reselling it soon.

Your Honor 4c is from 2015... I'd seriously consider a new phone.  You could probably get a higher-end Moto G7 or G8 (I'd skip the "Play" variants if possible) for that money.
