CPU fan goes full blast after waking from sleep mode

After I wake up my PC, my CPU fan goes 100%. Any ideas on how to fix this?

 

Ryzen 3 2200G (not O/C'd)

MSI B350M Mortar

GTX 1660 Super

Sleep mode is cancer.

I had many problems in the past.

OP: are you using a software to control your fans? MSI afterburner etc?

No software. And hardware monitor won't show my fan speeds.

 

Edit: I recently changed something in the BIOS (MSI game mode or something), and I had to re-enable AMD cool n' quiet when I came out of it. So, perhaps there's a way to default all of the BIOS settings?

I think you might have plugged in the fan to the wrong connector. On some mother boards only the cpu-fan plug has fan control.
