Monitor wont work with Display Port

My 144hz Monitor HP omen 25" wont come up with Display port but does work with HDMI. Its not the port on the graphics card either as ive tested with another monitor and Cable. Any help?

To add, I've updated all windows and graphics drivers, download the driver for the monitor it self, and tested all connections.

Display port is a really finicky port. I recommend trying a high quality display port cable that isn’t over 6ft. Unlike hdmi, DisplayPort cable quality really matters.

Sadly not the case! I have a really nice display port cable and never had an issue with cheap ones  its 3ft

Are you able to test the display port on your monitor with another device (like your integrated graphics)? It might be a faulty monitor.

not a bad idea. dont know why i didnt think of that! i have a laptop with DP ill test that as well

             The most relevant information I've found is an NVIDIA driver hotfix designed to address 144hz monitors showing no signal on Displayport with the RTX 2070. (https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4758)

 

             However, the hotfix is from almost a year ago, and I'm not sure that you are only having issues within your OS. Are you able to see POST and BIOS through Displayport?
