Right now, I have i3 4160, 8GB ram and GTX 750 Ti and is looking to upgrade. I can save up until next month to upgrade CPU or GPU. My plan is to either get Ryzen 5 2600, B450, 16GB first and stay with GTX 750 Ti until I save money to upgrade GPU or upgrade GPU first then stay with i3-4160 until i save up to upgrade the CPU.

I dont know what's best to upgrade first, the CPU or the GPU? Thanks in advance :)

it depends on what you're playing.

your cpu should be fine if you get a gpu upgrade, so you can play newer titles easier.

but if you mostly play old games or rts/turnbased games and esports titles, then you should upgrade the cpu ram and mobo IMO

i mean yea.

it's not a bad cpu it's just a little old.

only thing is that it's only got two cores, so you wouldn't want to record/stream anything if that's something you're interested in.

So yea i'd suggest you upgrade the gpu, then the motherboard and cpu (get a AM4 motherboard since they're going to be compatible with the 4000 series aswell) and then ram to top it off.
