Skyrim Modding

Go to solution Solved by Guest Gazzer96,

A bit old, but it should be the same.

If you cannot be bothered at look at the video, go to http://skse.silverlock.org/ and download the installer for latest current version, then install it where Skyrim is (usually C:\Program files (x86)\games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim), after that go to that folder, rename TESV.exe to TES_.exe and finally rename skse_loader.exe to TESV.exe. Now mods that use SKSE, like SkyUI, can run on the game.

I have just started modding Skyrim and I was starting with SkyUI and it told me I had to install something called Skyrim Script Extender and when I tried to run the skse loader I get an error saying it can't find TESV.exe. Can anyone tell me what I have to do to fix it?

Try putting the script extender in the same directory as the launch exe for skyrim (which is tesv.exe) and running it there.

I have 132 mods on my Skyrim. To fix if some of them are incompatible I usually just disable them and make a decision on which one is worth keeping.

Just follow Gopher's guide:

He'll tell you everything you need to know to install 99% of all the mods.

I followed his guide and this is my flawlessly working mod list:
