Evga 9800 GTX + Restoration

Found this old beast in some old things of mine. i knew this was having problems before. I didnt know i still had this till today so lets see what it looks like on the inside!

I think I see why it was having some problems, should run a lot better once it's cleaned out and re-pasted/re-padded! Hope you can benchmark it with some modern ones for comparisons sake and maybe against some other cards you have.

I still have an 8800gtx ultra kicking about somewhere. Was an $800 card in 2006/07. And people moan rtx is expensive now...

I do have a gtx 1070 i could compare it too on the nvidia side and i also have a rx480 i could compare with for team red. Just wonder what games to benchmark.

Lol no kidding! the king of gpu's back in the day. i remember seeing them in sli and was not disappointed!

Hmmm...whatever will run! Maybe some benchmarks like Heaven or Valley would run, I know I ran them on a 9800GT before I sold it to make sure it worked. The score was hilariously bad by modern standards.
