DEEPCOOL Tesseract BF

Go to solution Solved by TVwazhere,

What's your case budget? The Tesseract is old but a decent case overall.

Does anyone have experience with this case? I am sick of my large tower case and want something smaller. This one has 1 120 in the front but you can install 2 fans on the side which should be able to blow air into the gpu and cpu to exhaust in the back and up so the cooling should be okay but Id love some input on this

I have a GTX 1080 and a i5-4670k cpu if that matters

Do you really need that many slots hard drives and drive bays? It will impede the air flow. I have a Deepcool E-Shield and Matrexx 55 Mesh. I would think both are more effective for cooling the GPU even though it doesn't have a side fan.

Cougar MX330-X can mount up to a 200mm fan on the side. It may be a good choice without any modding. There are better cases but end up being twice the price of the ones I mentioned.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3950X   Motherboard: MSI X570 Gaming Edge Wifi   Case: Deepcool Maxtrexx 70   GPU: RTX 3090   RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3x16GB 3200 MHz   PSU: Super Flower 850W

I see your point. I only have 1 SSD and 1 HDD so I guess all the bays are not needed.

Would you then say this would be a better choice? My main objective here is to just find a smaller case and not spend too much money on it. I am extremely sick of my fat tall Phanteks tower case even though it costed £130 back then.

Nevermind my last post. I read that the airflow is pretty bad because of the closed off front panel.

Here is a case with holes in the front panel and also not covered with HDD bays. Is this one decent you think?

E-Shield is fairly decent. The front lower part of the ventilation pattern and HDD cage do get in the way slightly, but still much better than the Tesseract. I would choose the Matrexx 55 Mesh if they are around the same price. Both cases are $50 CAD in my area.

I just saw this one and it's probably a better option. Also mesh panel in the front and it even has a bottom fan which should be good for the GPU.
