HELLO GUYS,
My name is Harshil, I'm from India, currently studying architecture
I want to built a system for my work, (editing/rendering/sometimes gaming too)
my PC budget is up to 6000$
can u guys help me clear some doubts!!!!!
  1. Is { 2080ti i9-990ks 32gbram 2*1tb(m.2ssd) } an OK choice? [for best performance of BIM software!
  2. what type of case should i go with? [i want to have max cooling possible + aesthetically my PC case should look good!!!!]
3)Should i go with a liquid cooled or an air cooled system for my system build {i have heard that both of them doesn't make much difference still i see people with similar build has always gone with liquid cooled, but i also know that liquid cool system need maintenance too quiet often, i have heard air cooler like Noctua NH-U12A 60.09 CFM CPU Cooler are quiet similar in performance and best for long term maintenance free usage}

If you're doing CAD I would go with a Ryzen 9 3950X (more cores and more threads).

Yes this is a good build, the Noctua cooler is great but it's ugly.

For this kind of PC I would use an AIO Water Cooler like the Corsair H100i RGB Platinum.

Inly suggestion would be to go for 2x16gb ram, rather than 4x8, as it's easier to upgrade

Make a new thread for this but anyways, I'd reccomend Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING, it's 139 CAD$ from memory express, Also If you can get a GTX 1660, maybe a MSI OC Edition, I think there are some sales for it maybe 199$ USD, 269$ CAD also from memory express, if you're getting the motherboard from memory express or gpu, get the cpu from memory express too, so you don't buy from 2 sites, it's the same price

My custom loop 5000$ PC:

CPU: Intel i7 9900k Motherboard: Asus Prime Z390-A RAM: 32GB (x4 8GB Modules) Corsair Dominator VideoCard: Asus Nvidia 2080ti HDD/SSD: 1TB M2 Samsung EVO 970 Case: LianLi O11 Dynamic (White) Radiator: x1 Corsair Hydro X Series XR5 360 Fans: x6 Corsair LL120 RGB Tubing: Thermaltake PETG ID: 13mm OD: 16mm Fittings: Bitspower Throughout Waterblocks: CPU: EK-Velocity RGB (Nickel+Plexi) VideoCard: EK-Vector RTX 2080ti w/ Nickel Backplate (Nickel+Plexi) Reservoir: Bitspower Touchaqua Sedna Front Plate Options: Corsair Commander Pro, Corsair RGB Controller, Custom Sleeved Cables for CPU, ATX and PCI-E

The B450 Strix is not a suitable board for anything more than a 6 core Ryzen. The VRMs aren’t good enough.

At this price I don't see why he would buy a cheap SSD and a WD Blue... Please get a WD Black and a M.2 NVMe SSD. The memory speed is not right for Ryzen, the sweet spot is 3600MHz.

WD Black has no real improvement from the Blue. NVMe drives don’t have a real world speed improvement compared to a SATA SSD. 3000MHz RAM is completely fine for Ryzen.

It would be a good idea to make a new thread instead of taking over someone else’s

Make the PCPP list in your local currency. Prices and availability of parts change from place to place. India is known to have pretty expensive tech stuff because of taxes. The rig that u can make in $1000 will take around $1300-1400 to be built in India.

Agreed, but having a DRAMless SSD does make a difference. The bx500 is based of a SMI SM2258XT controller, which is a DRAMless controller.

I HAVE BEEN USING NEWEGG WEBSITE FOR THAT AS PC PART PICKER HAVE MANY PARTS PRICES UNAVAILABLE FOR INDIA. IN INDIAN CURRENCY THE SYSTEM I CHOOSE IS INR 300000 OR USD 4210. + MONITOR, WHICH I HAVE NOT FINALIZED YET (PROBABLY ANOTHER 2000 USD FOR A CURVED MONITOR).
