Is this power supply renough?

Go to solution Solved by Collinator24,

It died a few days ago. I replaced it with a Corsair TXM Gold 550 W 80+ Gold Semi-modular PSU.

Hey guys, my friend got a power supply on his own and I am not sure if it's good enough. I know it's a pretty bad one but it is at least from a reputable company, and I have actually used this PSU before. The PSU: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LYGJL0E/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_hpAcEbN349EJ1 . He will be getting a Ryzen 5 2600, and a GTX 1070 Ti.

Pretty rough, functional but with a lot of drawbacks

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Yeah, that's what I thought, I just don't want to make him buy a new one because he already has it.

No. While it is technically rated to be enough, I would strongly advise against it. It's a group regulated unit with no efficiency rating and doesn't meet ATX specifications.

Do you have any better suggestions that are pretty cheap? He already has this but I can get him to get a new one if it's cheap enough.
